I’m working on a self-help book and exploring self-publishing. There are so many options out there, and I'm trying to figure out which ones truly qualify as the best book publishing services.
I’ve looked into Amazon KDP and IngramSpark, but I’m also hearing about platforms like BookBaby and Reedsy. I'm not just looking for someone to print the book—I want professional editing, cover design, and some kind of marketing or promotional support.
If you’ve self-published before, which service did you use? Were you happy with it? Would you use them again?
I’d really appreciate any real-world experiences or recommendations. It’s hard to tell from online reviews what’s legit and what’s just hype.
